Funeral arrangements for Vera Crofts

As some of you may know, retired SASRA worker and beloved SASRA “treasure” Vera Crofts went to be with the Lord on the evening of Friday 22nd January.

Vera was diagnosed with cancer some months ago but had been able to spend much of that time at home - she then died in hospital after being admitted with a chest infection, and passed on to Glory peacefully in her sleep after sharing in prayer and listening to words of Scripture with her daughter Libby and son-in-law Peter.

We praise God for Vera’s life, work and commitment to the ministry of SASRA. She leaves behind a legacy of many fond memories for many people, and we honour the wonderful example she was to us all.

Please pray for her family, and the many dear friends she leaves behind.

Funeral arrangements for Vera are as follows:

Tuesday 16th February

11.30am - Cremation at Park Crematorium, Guildford Road, Aldershot, GU12 4BP

1pm - Thanksgiving Service at St Andrew’s Church, Queen’s Ave, Aldershot, GU11 2BY

Refreshments to follow the Thanksgiving Service at Ash Vale Gospel Hall, Frimley Road, GU12 5PA

N.B - It was Vera’s request that instead of buying flowers wellwishers might split their money between SASRA and Open Doors.

The family warmly invite all those who knew and loved Vera to attend both the Crematorium and/or the Thanksgiving Service/refreshments.
