WORKING WITH SASRA AS A SCRIPTURE READER

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

All prospective Scripture Readers must:

Be truly born again believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, demonstrating maturity in their faith

Confirm they agree entirely with the Association's  Basis of Belief

Have a clear calling to the work of an evangelist within the British Armed Forces

Meet the requirements of the military security authorities and the CRB to enhanced level

Demonstrate to the satisfaction of the SASRA Council a thorough knowledge of the Bible

Have served in the military

HELPFUL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Candidates having any of the following experience will be at an advantage:

Proven preaching ability

Previous work in Sunday School or Christian based Youth organisations

Church leadership
