William Wade

Colchester Garrison

I was radically converted in my late teens after two fifteen-year-old girls gate crashed a party I was having and shared the gospel with us all. Shortly after my conversion I joined the Royal Irish Rangers, and served seven years with them in various locations, as well as holding the Regimental Welterweight boxing title and earning the nickname of the 'Punching Preacher'.

My wife and I joined SASRA in 2001, and have served in Germany until summer 2015 when we, along with our two daughters, were posted to 16 Air Assault Brigade in Colchester, Essex.
