Kevin began work for SASRA in January 2007 as manager of The Jackson Club, a Miss Daniell’s Soldiers’ Homes facility at Gibraltar Barracks in Minley, Hampshire.
Kevin is married to Ruth who was initially employed as his assistant but due to ill health has been unable to fulfil that role since early 2009.
Kevin and Ruth have four children and nine grandchildren.
From Kevin’s Testimony:
“Although I have had no military service I have a deep sense of calling to serve the military in a practical way. The opportunity to respond to the call came in 2004 when the position as manager of the Salvation Army Red Shield services facility at Leconfield became vacant.
Working for the Salvation Army gave me experience of dealing with military personnel.
The work of Miss Daniell’s Soldiers’ Homes provides the opportunity to serve both the physical and spiritual needs of the soldiers. I thank God for the opportunities given to me to share the Gospel in such a relaxed and informal setting.”
